KUCHING: Assistant Minister of Entrepreneur and Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) Development Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais should declare his assets to the proper channel, not only to the Chief Minister only.
PBDSB Youth Chief, Rapelson Richard Hamit slammed the action made by Naroden because it seems fishy.
“He (Naroden) should declared his assets to the public, LHDN and Malaysia Anti Corruption Agency (MACC). If just by declaring it to CM alone only, it’s just like Zahid Hamidi reporting to Dato Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak in the past. He should answered all queries regarding the land scandal involving him as well” said Rapelson
The public have the right to know.”
Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais BN PBB (4064 votes) was challanged by Rapelson Richard Hamit (699 votes) and Uja Anak Bansi (396 votes) in 2016 Sarawak State Election.
Rapelson reiterate that, PBB seems to be more focus more on political stunt with too much publicity instead of getting things done. The upmost important issue which are affecting the Dayak community, such as NCR land issue, had never get special attention fron the state government lead by PBB.
He added, with two Dayak Deputy Chief Ministers, the Dayaks community should have been treated equally in various government planning.
“Integritty and trasparency is must. Sarawakians shall be more happy to see if Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr. James Jemut Masing, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, to declare their assets too.
In response to the decision of BN Sarawak leaving BN to form Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), Rapelson stated that PBDSB have no interest in joining it even though it is no longer attached with BN.
“As far as I am concerned, we (PBDS) have no interest joining Gabungan Parti Sarawak. we are firm with our decision to stand neutral. To me, metaphorically, It is just “the old wine being poured into a new bottle”.
“We will continue to prosecute our manifesto by urging the PH Federal Government and Sarawak Government to recognize the existence of our Dayak Nation such as “Lain-lain” to be replaced with “DAYAK” in the Government’s official form and in all matters including the Federal Constitution, restoring Sarawak’s status as a sovereign country, 100% of Sarawak’s oil management is to be returned to Sarawak, upholding religious freedom, upgrading of the Bumiputera Court by replacing it with the Dayak Court and it’s equivalent or at par with the Syariah Court and the High Courts especially in resolving the Dayak customs and the Dayak Native Customary Rights land (NCR), by getting recognition for _Pemakai Menua_ and _Pulau Galau_, solving Stateless Sarawak issue and others, which state BN has failed during BN regime period as the federation ruling party”, added Rapelson.
